About

I am a South African-born filmmaker with over 15 years experience in creating content, including documentaries, short films and more.

I have predominantly worked as a one-woman-band, creating content from concept to completion.  My work has taken me throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, South & Central America, and The Middle East. I am currently based in Barcelona.

My passion is documenting little-known cultures, animals and the natural world, and I am no stranger to remote locations and unusual subjects.

For a number of years I have been working on a documentary series exploring the fascinating reasons behind indigenous tattoos, called "Eternal Ink; Tattoos from the Spirit Worlds", currently in the final editing stages.

I also recently spent a year filming on a falcon farm in Dubai for "Born to Fly."

I have created content for major brands including Nestlé, P&G, Infiniti and more. I have filmed superstar musicians including Moby, The Roots, Yoko Ono and Ornette Colman among others. I made a hip-hop music video which was played on MTV and created projection visuals for the band Feeder's world tour.

In a previous life, before film, I studied Journalism and worked in PR.  I now use my writing and research skills for writing scripts, treatments and endlessly researching the subjects that fascinate me.
